San Cristobal! An Ashton line that is just amazing. A full bodied smoke. Great burn but I did have a little flaking...but not gonna complain. I paid about $9 for this one. A little pricey but it is a great cigar.
About the burn...
Starts out a little strong and then smoothes out to a dark earthy, dark chocolate and toasted nuts flavor for the rest of the cigar. No doubt a full-flavored, full-bodied cigar. The aroma carries and is just wonderful. It is the kind of ciagr that people can smell a block away! I would say this cigar definitely has a nicotine kick to it too. Highly recommend!!!

I LOVE this damn cigar way more than I thought that I would. Come on, there's a freakin' parrot on the band...
I wonder if there are any really great online retailers for this particular cigar. Considering how long I've been smoking (almost exclusively) the La Gloria Cubana Serie R Number 6 cigar, 9 bucks isn't that bad for a once in awhile cigar. Couldn't afford to have it as an every day cigar, but I could definitely splurge on one once in awhile.
I agree on the burn, it did start out harsh but then mellowed out a bit and was just rich in chocolate and nuts.
This would be a great cigar to pair with a nice coffee, not one of those crazy flavored coffees, (why not just get a flavored cigar while you're at it), but a real fresh brewed Kona to compliment the taste of this fine cigar.
I also have to agree on the aroma, it's a strong cigar in every respect. To me it was an incredible aroma, but when I smoked this cigar, I was with my fiancee at a Bed and Breakfast while she was trying to sleep. I didn't realize it until after she woke up how strong the scent was, she told me that her blouse that she had slept smelled so bad, she had to wash it twice. I think that's a bit over dramatic, but oh well, it's still one damn fine cigar.
I honestly haven't been this excited about trying a new cigar since my first Romeo y Julieta Anniversario cigar.
So grab a scotch, whiskey, coffee or drink of choice and light up one of these great stogies.
